Dr. Wendell Neeley attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and finished with High Honors prior to completing medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Also trained in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, he finished his residency in that specialty at UT Health in 2008.
Dr. Neeley served as the staff Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Chief of the Dental Service at the Overton Brooks VA Hospital.
He held a private practice in San Antonio for 7 years, Mission Orthodontics, before switching specialties entirely to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the LSU Health Science Center here in Shreveport. Once completing residency, Dr. Neeley served as the staff Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Chief of the Dental Service at the Overton Brooks VA Hospital.
Dr. Neeley’s wife, Dr. Emily Neeley, is a pediatric oral surgeon with Oschners-LSU Health. Outside the office, Wendell enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and three boys. He is also a board game aficionado, with over one thousand games in his collection.
